Great question!

Some sellers prefer waiting until their brand is more established while some would start the giveaway even they are new. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.

I’d usually advise my clients to kick start the giveaway starting day 1. Here are the reasons why:

  1. We can survey the market and see how buyers respond to our products.
  2. We can build sales immediately. This is correlated to №1 whereby the more sales we have, this somewhat shows that buyers are searching for the product which further validates our initial product research strategy.
  3. We can start building reviews for our products as we generate more sales.
